Evaluation of the support to youth employment by the Youth Employment Initiative and the European Social Fund
The European Commission wishes to know citizens’ and stakeholders’ opinions on the activities carried out by the EU since 2014 in order to promote and improve the employment of young people. These activities were carried out through the Youth Employment Initiative and the European Social Fund. The information collected will be used in assessing what has been achieved during the 2014-2018 period. It will also help the Commission to draw lessons on how to reinforce this support in the future, making it more effective and focused.
All citizens and organisations are invited to contribute to this consultation. Contributions are particularly sought from:
- Young people, particularly young people not in education, employment or training, whether or not they are receiving or have received support from the European Social Fund or the Youth Employment Initiative;
- Organisations involved in the management of European Social Fund and Youth Employment Initiative operational programmes, such as member states, managing authorities/ intermediate bodies, social and other partners;
- Organisations involved in the delivery of European Social Fund and Youth Employment Initiative operations as beneficiaries or project partners: public bodies, NGOs, municipalities.
But also from:
- Other organisations representing, or working with, young people, or active at EU, national or local level in the area employment support and active labour market policies.
The consultation will run until 16 August 2019.
